We seek new challenges and constantly develop ourselves further.
We work in a dynamic environment, within which flexibility and agility are indispensible. For our employees, this means: They can look forward to new and challenging tasks every day. This makes working with us diverse and demanding – and certainly never boring.
The right place for those looking for an exciting job.
Wire harnesses are the nervous system of modern vehicles. And this nervous system can do one thing particularly well: It transmits impulses. Unlike an exhaust pipe, however, this nervous system is not simply developed and installed more or less permanently for many years, but is rather prone to adjustments. Each project has several billion variants, which are subject to up to 3,000 adjustments per year. We thus develop and produce a highly dynamic and, at the same time, extremely important component for modern automobiles – and this in a firmly prescribed quality and timeframe. A challenge, which has to be mastered every day anew.
This is only possible because, here, everyone does his or her best – and this as long as necessary to satisfy the customer. For this vision to become reality, we support our employees with, among other things, individual professional and vocational training programmes – from technology and foreign languages to communication skills. Tailor-made to meet the needs and requirements of each individual.
How far you can succeed with us.
This can be demonstrated with the following example: “I completed a training course as a technical draftsman at SEBN in Germany. Since two years now, two colleagues and I have been working together in China, setting up our engineering department. And although I will not begin my university studies until next year, I have already taken on highly challenging tasks – this is extremely exciting and makes me proud. When I begin my studies, SEBN will remain in regular contact with me.” Or another example of a long-standing employee, who states: “I began working at SEBN as a simple ‘computer technician’. Today, I travel around the world – although I spoke no English at all when I first started. The fact that, at SEBN, I can work together with people from all over the world has changed my life and helped me to advance on a personal level.”
Teamwork is a top priority here.
Such international co-operation is typical for us: Sometimes, colleagues on four continents work together on one project. There are even internationally networked teams within both the IT and Service divisions. Here, time differences are not the only challenges – but also cultural differences. “But this is precisely what makes it so much fun: always learning about new cultures.”
Speaking of working hand-in-hand: 92 percent of our production is done by hand. The customer can select individual solutions from a modular system and receive his or her “own” individually customised wire harness. We sometimes receive the final impulse before delivery only 40 minutes before the wire harness is actually built. “Having the right components available at hand – this is what it is all about. Only then are you really good!”
